By agreeing to the Spontaneous Overflow policies, you agree that:
1. Any creative work posted under your User Name (creative work herein defined as poetry, writes, audios, illustrations, and all other artistic manifestations that assume your authorship), was originally created by you. If any creative work posted under your User Name was not originally created by you, you will either (a) explicitly give proper citation to whom citation is due, or (b) rely on the context of the thread, discussion, post, topic and any other contextual factors to affirm that you are not the author of the work.
Any creative work posted under your User Name outside of the aforementioned contexts will result in a PERMANENT BAN (User Name and IP) from spontaneousoverflow.com. Your User Name, IP, and all other applicable data will remain in the possession of Spontaneous Overflow administration for legal or judicial proceedings that may ensue on behalf of the real author(s) or their invested interests.
The most common term for sharing creative work that is not yours, but that you claim an authorship to or ownership of, is plagiarism. What is plagiarism? According to Word Net, plagiarism is:
A piece of writing (any creative work) that has been copied from someone else and is presented as being your own work
The act of plagiarizing; taking someone's words or ideas as if they were your own
Plagiarism, and all other forms of fictitious ownership, will result in a PERMANENT BAN as described above.
